Stamp club and ideas shared

Filed under: Uncategorized — violettesscrapbookstore @ 9:25 am

Hi everyone Violettes had their monthly stampclub and we wanted to share some pictures with you.  Did you know we have over 90 members in this club.  Linda has decided to use Stamps by Judith in our next meeting and we just received approval from them to carry their stamps.  It is not easy to become a retailer for them.  We had to submit photos of the inside/outside of the store, many documents, but that’s ok with us because we know they are going to have a good home.   Be sure to visit our new website:  for our calendar.

One of the cards completed in class.

Judy and her group from Orlando that are in our stamp club brought some great ideas to share so we are going to share with you. We do carry the animal stamps.

and one more  Thanks for sharing  Judy.

Grunge look  – inks – tags Oh my!

Do you love TIM HOLTZ?  We are going to have a class on Tim Holtz style.  Did always want to learn how to make the grunge flowers, what inks to use with what – distress or alchol.  How about crackle paint.  You will learn it in this new class.  This will be Tim Holtz 100% from his stamps to his emblishments.   Girls you will want to sign up for this one early!!!!  You will have plenty of time.  We have allowed 3 hours per class. You will be making 4 Christmas tags.  There will be 2 classes first is at 9:30 am the second will start at  2:oopm  The pictures for this class will be posted tomorrow.  I will blast it on the email system as well.  Class is scheduled for Saturday October 2nd.  The cost of the class is $32. You will be gaining a lot of knowledge and having a lot of fun with Bonnie.  So call the store at 83 644-0801. Sneek peek is below:

Tag on the left is a sneek peek for the am class the one on the right is for the afternoon. Yes each class makes a different set of tags.  So yes you can sign up for both.  I would say the one with the flowers is a little more advanced.
